Dip Pen Nanolithography®: Advancing Alternative Methods to Create Versatile Nanostructures
Tom Levesque
Vice President DPN Business NanoInk, Inc.
(VIDEO CONFERENCED FROM THE AUSTIN OFFICE OF WINSTEAD PC)
Abstract:
Dip Pen Nanolithography (DPN®) is a versatile Scanning Probe Microscopy-based technique which, while operating under ambient conditions, is capable of engineering surface structures in the nanoscale range. Previously thought of as a single tip, serial process, DPN has evolved to a highly scalable, parallel technology with thousands of cantilevers capable of rapidly generating structures over square centimeters of area. In this presentation we will discuss the technology's evolution and sample many of the applications which are currently being performed with NanoInk's systems. These will include examples of depositions using biological materials, polymers, and metallic structures.
Bio: Tom Levesque
